A LUT is a monitoring look: it never affects snapshots or recordings. Applied before peaking and zebras, so exposure tools still judge the source.

The slate is the only overlay burned into recordings: guides, HUD and scopes never are. Records the corrected frame at native resolution when set.

Scopes

Peaking and scopes are computed on the corrected picture, and scopes measure exactly the frame the snapshot would export. Snapshot exports stay clean: monitoring aids are never baked into a master frame.
